T's and C's applied. - Must have local driving experience in your own car in Australia - Must have 5+ years of experience from overseas - Preferred to have your own car (not compulsory) - Must be available with good flexibility (OR 7 weekends over 3-5 weeks) - Must meet competence and confidence criteria which will be tested via initial assessment lesson - Must have been driving on own in Adelaide for a while or must have enough driving experience - Must be able to meet certain locations as needed - Must be able to handle long sessions (max up to 4 hours per day or less) - Must work with schedule of 2 or more instructors as per requirement based on the initial assessment

Cancellation Policy

Terms and Conditions, refunds and cancellations: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- When you simply change your mind after paying online by any means; then the refund will only be calculated after deducting the online processing fees minimum up to 149.00 AUD or 5% of the transaction value (whichever is greater). We would love to offer you a full refund but our online processing feature does cost monies and they are not refundable to us or client regardless of the reason of refund. We’re making this change to reflect the fact that Adelaide School of Driving incurs some processing fees from our network and payments partners in instances of refunds, and to match current industry standards we will no longer be able to refund in full when you simply change your mind. Any Lesson Cancellation without 24 Hrs notice will be charged at full price regardless of the situations. There are no refund given for any pre-booked VORT which are already booked with DIT via AE. We offer partial refund on case by case basis if the package was partially used. In cases where you have changed your mind half way through the training and breached the agreement then the partial refund will be calculated based on full lesson price; not according to the discounted price. The school will deduct the full lesson prices and any quotation/planning cost up to 550.00 AUD from money paid and the rest will be refunded back to same bank account. Also note that the card facility provider does take 10-15 business days to complete the full refund procedure from the day we finalize it from our end. We may offer different prices or add surcharges from time to time based on many factors like location, time & other circumstances. 3/4 Week Driving Course via CBT&A is only applicable if you are free anytime for 3 weeks minimum & everyday between 8AM-6PM. You have to accommodate to all offered classes and not reject any offered classes. There are no refund given for any pre-booked lessons or packages where planning has taken place. There are no refund given where student has not remain honest and open about the situation and have wasted our valuable time. The school reserves the right to deduct the full lesson prices and any quotation/planning cost from money paid and the rest may be refunded back to same bank account ONLY on case by case basis. Also note that the card facility provider does take 10-15 business days to complete the refund.

Terms & Conditions: 1/3/4-Week Express Course in CBT&A/VORT

 

1/3/4-Week Driving Course / Express Course (CBT&A/VORT) Requirements:

 

1. Availability: Enrollment in the 1/3/4-week Express Course for CBT&A/VORT is contingent upon the participant’s full availability within the specified time frame (1, 3, or 4 weeks) from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.

2. Mandatory Attendance: Participants must attend all scheduled classes as offered without rejection or rescheduling. The course may require extended training sessions, up to a maximum of 5 hours per day, based on individual progress and instructional needs.

3. Completion Timeline: The time frames provided (1, 3, or 4 weeks) represent an optimal estimate; completion of the course within these periods is dependent on the participant’s learning pace and ability to meet the performance criteria outlined in the Driving Companion Logbook or VORT manual.

Cancellation Policy:

 

Cancellations made without a minimum of 72 hours’ notice will incur a full charge for the scheduled lesson.

 

Pricing Adjustments:

 

Adelaide School of Driving reserves the right to adjust pricing or apply surcharges as deemed necessary due to factors such as location, time, and other circumstances.

Refund Policy

1. Refunds for Pre-Booked VORT Tests

Adelaide School of Driving does not offer refunds for pre-booked VORT tests arranged through the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) via an Authorized Examiner (AE) contractor. While we aim to provide the best support possible, DIT’s policy restricts us from offering refunds for cancellations or amendments. Additionally, DIT mandates that any cancellations or substitutions be arranged no less than two full business days in advance, which limits our ability to rebook the slot with another client.

 

In cases where a training package has been partially used, we may offer a partial refund on a case-by-case basis. However, if the client terminates the agreement midway, any partial refund will be calculated based on the full, non-discounted lesson rate. Further, the school will deduct any planning or quotation fees up to $499 AUD from the original payment, with the remaining balance refunded to the same bank account. Please also be aware that refunds may take up to 10-15 business days to process due to payment provider timelines.

 

2. Change of Mind and Online Payments

If you decide to cancel after making an online payment, a processing fee will be applied before calculating your refund. This fee will be the greater of either $149 AUD or 5% of the transaction value. While we would prefer to provide a full refund, these processing fees are non-refundable to us, as they are incurred through our payment processing partners. Our policy aligns with industry standards and reflects the non-recoverable fees associated with these transactions.

 

3. 1-Day VORT Course Conditions for Subsequent VORTs in Package

For clients enrolled in VORT packages that include a subsequent VORT attempt (as advertised), please note that this additional VORT test is offered only after a minimum period of 14 days for L permit holders, or 3 days for those with a Temporary Driving Permit (for overseas license conversions), depending on our schedule availability.

 

4. CBT&A/VORT Courses and Completion Timeframes

Please note that while purchasing a package or paying online secures your enrollment, it does not guarantee completion within a specific timeframe. Following the first lesson, we will assess driving abilities and discuss whether we can meet the requested timeframe. If we determine that the timeframe is unachievable, we will explore alternative options with you or provide a refund as per our refund policies. Adelaide School of Driving is committed to maintaining the Motor Registrar’s standards and adheres to the Rules Governing Authorised Examiners to ensure high-quality training and compliance.
